Everyone gets a lot of post at Christmas and in the rush over the festive season it can be easy to overlook more mundane things. However, all Oxford Open Learning and Home Schooling students who we believe are likely to take exams next summer, will shortly be receiving our exam mailshot, along with the Christmas post.
We have done our best to make it look festive (well at least it is multi coloured, in an attempt to get your attention) so please put it in a safe place and even if you do not have the time to read it immediately, make sure that you read and act on the instructions straight after the Christmas holiday.
You will find information about locating a centre in your area, instructions about the booking procedure and any forms which those of you with coursework will need. It is important to find a centre to sit your exam by the end of January. The official AQA deadline is during February, but most centres close their books well before then, so please do not leave it too late.
We have a data base of centres who have helped our students in the past and a post code locator for them. This and full instructions about the examinations procedure can also be found under the Student Information section of our website http://www.ool.co.uk/examinations/ , as well as on paper in the mailshot.
We post examination information to students living in the UK and European countries. However, because of the time that post can take and its unreliability in many areas, anyone living in more distant parts of the world should use the information on the website or email us with any questions.
