Maths is available as a fast track course for both GCSEs and IGCSEs.
The Fast Track Maths GCSE/IGCSE courses are tailored for students who:
You can apply for Fast Track GCSE courses at any point between the 18th of November and the 10th of February. You would finish need to finish your course by the summer examination sittings for 2019.
Normal exam arrangement terms apply.
The Fast Track course covers the same topics and syllabus as our Maths GCSE course
This depends very much on you and why you are choosing to study Maths in such a short space of time. If you consider the qualification to be just a hurdle which you need jump in order to move onto further studies unrelated to the field of Maths, then you probably want to study the Maths GCSE. For Summer exams this the simpler option. It is worth noting that the syllabus for the Maths GCSE has been toughened since Summer 2017!
If you are studying from abroad, you will almost certainly need to choose the IGCSE, unless you are planning to return to the UK for the exams.
There are some very good reasons you should still use a pen and paper.
If you need to defer your Maths GCSE there will be a charge, probably of £50. The deferral of Maths GCSE from 2016 to 2017 is quite complicated and you will need to study some harder topics, even at foundation level.
