Welcome to our Distance Learning Accounting Overview

Oxford Open Learning offers a variety of Accounting Qualifications by distance learning and in order to make sensible decisions about what to study you will need to read the following background information carefully.

We offer three different types of distance learning Accounting Courses: Academic, Computerised and Vocational.

Academic Courses

Oxford Open Learning offers Accounting GCSE and AS and A2 Level exams.  You are most likely to take these courses if you are planning to go into Higher Education and are thinking in terms of a business degree.

Vocational Courses

Oxford Open Learning offers the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) course.  This course is suitable for a wide range of students, from those who wish to run a set of books for a small company to those seeking work or promotion in the accounts department of a larger company.

Computerised Accounting
