Applying for an Oxford Open Learning course

Why Am I seeing this page?

You have attempted to apply for a course with Oxford Home Schooling but you are over the age of 18.  You need to apply via Oxford Open Learning.

Oxford Home Schooling and Oxford Open Learning are two sides of a single educational not for profit trust, The Oxford Open Learning Trust.

Oxford Home Schooling

As the name suggests, Oxford Home Schooling is dedicated to providing a service for children who are being educated in the home environment under the supervision of one or both parents, or legal guardians.

We offer a full range of courses across the secondary years (Key Stage 3, GCSE, IGCSE and A level). Oxford Home Schooling students are normally aged 11-18. Regular, systematic telephone teaching is provided and there is also unlimited telephone support for parents.

If you are under 18 you must apply via the Oxford Home Schooling Website. Apply Now

Oxford Open Learning

Oxford Open Learning, on the other hand, offers similar support for adult learners, most of whom are returning to learning in order to achieve specific goals in terms of career progression or entry to higher education. We pride ourselves on our record in helping such students achieve those goals. Once again, high levels of personalised telephone support are a vital part of the programme. As well as GCSE, IGCSE and A-level, Oxford Open Learning offers a range of vocational and professional courses. Oxford Open Learning students are normally aged over 18 and not in full-time education.
