Playing flash videos in your browser

Enabling Flash

Some of Oxford Open Learning’s course materials link to extra material in the form of Flash Videos, primarily on the BBC website.

In order to play these, you will need to enable flash for the website they are hosted on.  You should only need to do this once per site.  We recommend that you use the Chrome Browser for this as it has a built-in Flash Player as does Microsoft’s Edge and the Opera Browser.  It is possible to install a Flash Player for Firefox but it is not supported as standard so we recommend one of the others.
