Admission Policy

We have a responsibility to ensure that students are enrolled on courses that are suitable for them.

Students applying for A levels and other higher level courses are expected to have previously obtained 4 GCSEs at grade C or above, or an equivalent qualification. Some higher level courses require prior knowledge of the subject. For example, Maths A level assumes that GCSE or IGCSE Maths skills have been mastered.

We also recommend that adult distance learners do not attempt more than 5 GCSEs or 2 A levels at the same time.

Oxford Open Learning reserves the right to decline any application without giving a reason.

Age

Oxford Open Learning does not enrol students under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 and wish to apply for one of our courses, please contact our sister company, Oxford Home Schooling.
