A Level French by Distance Learning - The Course

The French A Level is split into two major components - AS and A2.  The AS level can be sat in its own right.

Each lesson begins with a set of clearly stated objectives and an explanation of its place in the overall programme of study.

Effective learning is encouraged through frequent activities and self-assessment questions.

There are thirteen tutor-marked assignments (known as TMAs).

Availability

The French AS distance learning course is available now for first examination in June 2010. The French A2 course is available for first examination in June 2011.

At both AS and A2 level the course is supported by aural material on CD-Rom, and access to Nelson Thornes online resources at Kerboodle.  Students will need to have internet access to benefit from these.
