The Certificate in Educational Administration is the first course of its kind in the UK and we believe it will become the standard qualification for School Administrators. The course syllabus provides details of the course content.
The course is for School Administrators – people in schools who are involved in all aspects of day-to-day school administration.
Oxford Open Learning manages the learning programme and provides the tutor support. We also print and distribute the course materials and provide a virtual classroom for students.
Hamilton House designed and developed the programme with funding from the Department of Trade and Industry. Hamilton House Mailings plc is a direct mailing company which specialises in mailing into schools. It has established the School of Educational Administrators (see www.admin.org.uk) and a newsgroup, and sends regular newsletters to school administrators. Hamilton House is responsible for marketing the CEA programme and creating the course materials.
