The Course

The Institute of Administrative Management's Certificate and Diploma courses are internationally recognised as among the most comprehensive management qualifications.  The Human Resources module is one of the steps to achieving it.  Effective learning is encouraged through frequent activities and self-assessment questions as well as tutor-marked assignments and past exam papers and examiner feedback.   We include additional materials in the form of a separate manual  for each module. 

When studying at this level it is also essential to read around the subject and our course will give you guidance on areas of personal research.  The IAM also have an extremely useful web site, which we advise students to consult regularly.

The Syllabus

Human Resources is one of three modules comprising the Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) Diploma.  The other two modules being:

Assessment and Duration

Assessment is by examination only.   We recommend a minimum of 140 hours of study per module.

Special Requirements

Prospective candidates will normally have studied for the IAM Certificate prior to progressing onto the Diploma modules.  However, exemptions are available to high level candidates.

Students are required to be members of the Institute whilst studying the Certificate and Diploma.  We provide an IAM registration form once the student has enrolled.  Students are expected to join the Institute at least 4 months prior to the first examination date.  Exams are held every June and December.
