Science (Double Award) is priced as 2 GCSEs.
Science (Single Award) has an additional charge of £100 to reflect the tutoring costs involved in this subject.
French, German and Spanish IGCSEs have an additional charge of £50 to reflect the tutoring costs involved in practising the speaking and listening skills.
English GCSE includes Non-Exam Assessment (NEA) and has an additional charge of £100.

Oxford Open Learning’s easy-payment scheme is not available for Fast Track courses.
What does the fee cover?
Your fees purchase a complete Oxford Open Learning study pack together with tutor support. The course pack includes a short introduction to study skills. Full tutor support includes:
- The marking of a series of assignments
- Written answers to specific study problems
- Telephone contact, if required
The fee does not cover:
- Additional textbooks
- Examination entry
- Delivery outside the UK mainland
A-levels with NEA (Coursework)
The following subjects include NEA (Non-Exam Assessment):
- English Literature A level
- English Language A level
- History A level
In order to process NEA, the Oxford Open Learning Trust has become an examination centre. We will collect the examination fees payable to the board directly. These fees total approximately £120. You will also need to find a centre to “host” your written exams. The host centre may make a separate administration charge for this.
GCSEs with NEA
Just one GCSE subject includes NEA (Non-Exam Assessment):
- English Language GCSE
This tests your speaking and communication skills. In order to process NEA, the Oxford Open Learning Trust has become an examination centre. We will collect the examination fees payable to the board directly. These fees total £80. You will also need to find a centre to “host” your written exams. The host centre may make a separate administration charge for this.
