Writer and author Caitlin Moran on how Not to study at home!

Many of our students will achieve good results this year. However, learning from home is not something that should ever be undertaken lightly and requires a good deal of motivation and dedication.

Given the ever growing number of students who undertake the challenge, it must be admitted that statistically, as in all things in life, some will do better than 0thers. More often than not, things will work well, but, for an amusing example of how NOT to go about studying away from the school environment, you could have a listen to the “experiences” of award-winning journalist and author Caitlin Moran, speaking on Radio 4’s My Teenage Diary recently.

Computer games, muddy walls and Nirvana all served to distract Caitlin from her less appealing studies, although she does seem to have done quite well for herself in the end. And I’m sure she did get around to doing some Maths at some point!
