The Certificate in Educational Administration is the first course of its kind in the country and we believe it will, in time, become the standard qualification for School Administrators.
1. Who is the course aimed at?
The course is aimed at School Administrators – people in the school like yourself who are involved in all aspects of day to day school administration.
2. Who offers the course?
The course is offered by a consortium of three organisations
Oxford Open Learning manages the programme and provides the tutor support.We also print and distribute the course materials and provide a Virtual Classroom facility.
Hamilton House Mailings plc. Hamilton House is a direct mailing firm which specialises in mailing into schools. Hamilton House designed and developed the programme with funding from the DTI. They have established the School of Educational Administrators and also run a website (www.admin.org.uk) and a newsgroup. They also send out regular newsletters to school administrators.
Hamilton House is responsible for marketing the programme and providing the course material.
The Institute of Administrative Management. Responsible for accrediting the course and registering the course within the National Qualifications Framework (NQF)
