The Course
Our course is suitable for anyone who wishes to improve their general standard of English, be it for enhancing job prospects or simply for personal satisfaction.
The Everyday Good English course can also serve as a stepping stone toward GCSE English.
Each lesson of the course begins with a set of clearly stated objectives and an explanation of its place in the overall programme of study. There are 25 lessons and 6 tutor-marked assignments. In addition, there are numerous self-assessment tests and activities to measure your progress. We also include a CD-Rom in the course materials which contains dictation for listening and writing practice.

The Syllabus
The Everyday Good English course does not lead to an examination. An Oxford Open Learning Certificate of Completion will be issued when you have completed your course.

By studying this course you will attain the standard of English needed to express yourself and your ideas clearly. This will benefit you in your current workplace, in finding new jobs and in all areas of future study. You should study this course if:

Progression
When you have completed Everyday Good English, you will be ideally placed to progress to Oxford Open Learning's English GCSE.
